An opportunity to enjoy some SUP time on the water here at Rushden Lakes.

Thursday evenings throughout our season. Option to bring your own board, or hire one of ours, and paddle a section of the lake after all other types of craft are off the water.

Not a substitute for a more focused lesson, but our coaches will be on hand to offer tips & advice to help practice & improve your paddleboard skills & knowledge.

Up to 2-hours on the water, Thursday evenings throughout our season. Lovely Lake, Great Facilities, including access to our large floating pontoon, showers & toilets; come alone or with a small group, and join other paddleboarders on the water; chat with our coaches.

Who is this for?

You’ll need to have been on a board once or twice before booking this evening session (book at bottom of page).

It’s not for first-timers, but perhaps you’re looking to grow your confidence & pick up some tips.

Minimum age is 13yrs, and any 13-17yr olds need to be on the water with adult of 21+.

*** These sessions are for Inflatable Boards Only. Due to loading restrictions in and around the Rushden Lakes car park, boards must arrive in a DEFLATED state, be inflated outside The Boathouse, and deflated once more at the end before leaving

*** Buoyancy Aids must be worn throughout the session – Either bring your own, or borrow one of ours for the evening at no charge

*** Wearing of wetsuits is optional, please note we don’t hire them.

Packages purchased now are valid until the end of our 2025 Season, with sessions available Thursday evenings through our season, to end September.
